Inside the Tulip Suite
The Tulip Suite sits on the river side of the 1869 main house and is the suite guests request most often. Tall windows frame the Ohio River valley, and because they face north the light stays cool and even from morning through late afternoon. A king bed dressed in premium linens anchors the room, with a writing desk under the window and a sitting area for coffee before anyone else in the house is awake.
The private bath has a tiled walk-in shower and a double granite vanity, with robes and slippers laid out for your stay. Climate control, complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat panel television, and a USB charging point are all in the room, though most guests find the window does more for them than the screen does.
Breakfast and the rest of the estate
A full gourmet breakfast is served each morning at nine in the formal dining room, cooked fresh and plated rather than set out on a buffet. Monday mornings are continental, and if you need an earlier start for a drive or an attraction we will make continental breakfast available as early as you need it.
Beyond the suite you have six and a half private acres to wander: porches lined with rocking chairs, gardens, a gazebo above the water, and river overlooks that are especially good at sunset. The inn is adults only, so evenings here stay genuinely quiet.
Day trips and romantic itineraries nearby
Warsaw sits midway between Cincinnati and Louisville, so most of the region is an easy drive. Couples usually pair a night in this suite with a slow morning on the porch and one outing in the afternoon.

- The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, about forty minutes south
- The Creation Museum in Petersburg, about forty five minutes north
- General Butler and Big Bone Lick state parks for hiking and river overlooks
- Riverfront dinners in Warsaw and Carrollton, or the restaurants at Belterra
- A full day on the grounds, which is what many guests choose in the end
