Are the grounds open to overnight guests all day?

Yes. Guests have full access to the gardens, gazebo, riverfront, porch, and parlors from check-in through check-out.

Can we walk to the river from the inn?

Yes. A short, gentle path leads from the porch down to the Ohio River bluff and the gazebo.

Is the property dog friendly?

We cannot accommodate pets to protect the historic interiors. Service animals are welcome with prior notice.

When is the best time of year to see the gardens?

Late April through mid-October. Magnolias bloom in spring, the gazebo gardens peak in early summer, and the river bluff is loveliest at sunset year-round.
