Inside the Magnolia Suite
The Magnolia is the most dramatic interior in the house. A hand-carved four-poster king bed stands at its center, framed by south-facing windows that keep the room warm and bright from breakfast through evening. A separate sitting area looks out over the front circle gardens, and it is the spot guests tend to claim with a book and a second cup of coffee.
The private bath pairs a dual vanity with a walk-in shower, and robes and slippers are provided. Premium linens, climate control, complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat panel television, and a working desk round out the suite. It is the room we suggest for milestone birthdays and anniversaries.
Breakfast and the rest of the estate
Breakfast is a full gourmet service at nine each morning in the formal dining room, cooked fresh and plated. Monday is continental, and we can set out continental service earlier if your plans call for it.
Six and a half private acres surround the house: gardens, a gazebo above the water, wide porches with rocking chairs, and river overlooks that are worth the short walk at sunset. The inn is adults only, with free private parking on the estate.
Day trips and romantic itineraries nearby
Warsaw sits midway between Cincinnati and Louisville, so most of the region is an easy drive. Couples usually pair a night in this suite with a slow morning on the porch and one outing in the afternoon.

- The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, about forty minutes south
- The Creation Museum in Petersburg, about forty five minutes north
- General Butler and Big Bone Lick state parks for hiking and river overlooks
- Riverfront dinners in Warsaw and Carrollton, or the restaurants at Belterra
- A full day on the grounds, which is what many guests choose in the end
