Inside the Chestnut Suite
The Chestnut Suite sits above the front circle, on the garden side of the house, which makes it the quietest room we have. A king bed in premium linens sits in a warm palette of chestnut and cream, with a cozy sitting area by the window and a writing desk for anyone who still likes to put a pen to paper.
The private bath has a walk-in shower and a granite vanity, with robes and slippers provided. Climate control, complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat panel television, and a USB charging point are all included, and the windows look out on the trees and the front gardens rather than the road.
Breakfast and the rest of the estate
A full gourmet breakfast is served at nine each morning in the formal dining room, plated fresh rather than set on a buffet. Monday is continental, and earlier continental service can be arranged by request.
The estate covers six and a half private acres, with porches and rocking chairs, gardens, a gazebo, and overlooks above the Ohio River. Adults only, free private parking, and an innkeeper on site who will happily plan your afternoon with you.
Day trips and romantic itineraries nearby
Warsaw sits midway between Cincinnati and Louisville, so most of the region is an easy drive. Couples usually pair a night in this suite with a slow morning on the porch and one outing in the afternoon.

- The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, about forty minutes south
- The Creation Museum in Petersburg, about forty five minutes north
- General Butler and Big Bone Lick state parks for hiking and river overlooks
- Riverfront dinners in Warsaw and Carrollton, or the restaurants at Belterra
- A full day on the grounds, which is what many guests choose in the end
