Why These Three

Three Breweries, Three Personalities

We picked these three because together they tell the whole story of Northern Kentucky brewing right now.

Braxton Brewing

A Covington flagship known for the Garage IPA and a rotating slate of small-batch experiments. Big patio, good light, and a tap list that gives you a real feel for what NKY brewing has become.

Fabled Brew Works

Williamstown's hidden gem. Smaller, quieter, and more storytelling. Their saisons and barrel-aged ales are worth the drive, and the taproom feels more like a friend's living room than a brewery floor.

Darkness Brewing

Bellevue's dark-beer specialists. Stouts, porters, and the occasional bright surprise. The kind of place that ends the day on a thoughtful note instead of a loud one.

Pair It With

Make It a Longer Weekend

Hops on the River pairs naturally with the rest of our Sip and Savour series.

Good to Know

Frequently Asked

Is transportation included?

Not by default. Each brewery is a short drive apart and most guests use a rideshare or designate a driver. Ask about our all-day transportation upgrade when you book; please drink responsibly.

How many people can join the weekend?

The inn holds up to ten adults across five private suites, so a Hops on the River weekend works equally well for a couple, a small friend group, or a full buyout.

Is the weekend available year round?

Yes. Northern Kentucky's breweries keep stable tasting hours through the year. Spring and fall are our most popular Hops on the River seasons.

Can we pair this with other tastings?

Absolutely. Many guests pair the brewery weekend with our Riverside Wine Trail loop or the broader Sip and Savour series for a longer stay.
